Too many women are told that painful periods are normal, that PMS is just part of being female, or that the only option for menopause symptoms is medication. These things are common — but they’re not inevitable.
Acupuncture works with your body’s own systems to regulate hormones, reduce inflammation, calm the nervous system, and restore a sense of balance. For many women, the results are significant — and faster than they expected.

Acupuncture can be used alongside HRT or as an alternative for women who can’t take it or prefer not to. Many of my patients see significant improvement within just a few sessions.
Your first appointment is 60 minutes. I take a detailed history — your cycle, symptoms, lifestyle, stress levels, sleep and any previous investigations. Treatment begins in the same session.
Over subsequent sessions, I track your progress carefully, adjusting treatment as your cycle and symptoms evolve. Many women notice changes within the first three to four sessions; for more complex or longstanding conditions, a course of six to twelve weekly sessions is typical.
Can acupuncture help with painful periods? Yes. Acupuncture is used to reduce inflammation, improve pelvic blood flow, and regulate the hormones that drive menstrual pain. Many patients see significant reduction within the first two to three cycles.
Can acupuncture help with PCOS? Yes. Acupuncture can help regulate the menstrual cycle, support ovulation, and address the hormonal imbalances underlying PCOS. It works well alongside dietary and lifestyle changes.
Can acupuncture help with endometriosis? Acupuncture won’t remove endometrial tissue, but it is effective at reducing the inflammation, pain and cramping associated with endometriosis, and can support a healthier uterine environment.
Can acupuncture help with hot flushes? Yes — this is one of the most well-supported uses of acupuncture in menopause. Many of my patients see significant reduction in frequency and intensity of hot flushes within just a few sessions.
Can I have acupuncture alongside HRT? Absolutely. Acupuncture works well alongside HRT and other medications. I’ll always ask about your current treatments at your first appointment.
How quickly will I notice a difference? This varies by condition. Many women notice changes after two to four sessions. For complex hormonal issues, a course of six to twelve weeks is typical.
