I previously saw Ilana weekly for over a year following a three year struggle to conceive. I had experienced two very early miscarriages and a struggled to fall pregnant naturally. I started seeing Ilana when I was about to embark on an intensive IVF journey. Due to the miscarriages my cycle was irregular and unhealthy, but after a few treatments with Ilana this returned and I felt it was the healthiest it had ever been. I done three rounds of back to back ivf egg collections where we ended up with 5 genetically normal embryos which we was thrilled with and I truly believe weekly Accupuncture sessions along with some supplement and dietary changes really supported this. The biggest surprise of all was that I found out we had conceived naturally, during a months break we had from ivf where i was preparing for an embryo transfer. I whole heartedly believe that it was Accupuncture that made this difference and supported me in falling pregnant. I continued to see Ilana throughout my pregnancy and can honestly say I have had a healthy straightforward pregnancy and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. Ilana is great at what she does and really helps investigate and uncover any other underlying reasons why you may be having fertility issues. I couldn’t recommend Ilana enough. 😌

I had a sudden and very painful old nerve issue resurface. I was looking for a local acupuncture service, close to St Albans and I found it in Bricket Wood. The reviews I read about Acupuncture by Illana gave me confidence that she could help and I was delighted to secure an almost instant appointment. I have had acupuncture previously and although it is very beneficial for some reason I find the prospect of the appointment makes me nervous. As soon as I arrived for my appointment Ilana put me at ease. Ilana is calm and kind, taking her time to get to know you and the issue. I was lucky that it only took two sessions for the issue to resolve but I know now that when that first twinge appears I will be arranging an appointment! It is an hour of calm that leaves the body rested and relaxed. Thank you Ilana.

I had a few acupuncture sessions with Ilana for back pain and found that she really helped me. There was one particular session where I immediately felt relief from the pain that had been affecting my walking and general wellbeing. I would highly recommend Ilana.

Having never had acupuncture before I was not sure what to expect. I've suffered with daily ear ache/headaches for a year. Have seen numerous ENT specialists and had various scans all of which showed nothing. After just a few sessions with Ilana the pain went away. I cannot recommend enough!!

I went to have acupuncture by Ilana for hay fever. I was going away for a long weekend and my nose was streaming constantly. I hadn’t gone for acupuncture before the allergy season so I was hoping for a quick fix. My nose stop streaming immediately and didn’t stream while I was away. I was so grateful. The treatment was also a very pleasant and relaxing experience and Ilana is thorough and very caring. I can highly recommend Ilana.

She helped me get my hormones back on track with my first pregnancy and I was pregnant within 2 months of seeing her and has helped hugely with my migraines. I started to see Ilana with menopause symptoms and migraines as medication was not working for me. Ilana has managed to keep both symptoms at bay without the use of medication. I only occasionally have a hot flush and I no longer get migraines. She is now working on my tension headaches and joint pain. I came to see Ilana for help with peri menopause symptoms - mainly night sweats. Ilana is thorough in her questioning of your past medical history to get an understanding of your health.
I've had 5 treatments and the hot flushes have pretty much stopped.
As a side note I mentioned to her how much I was suffering with itchy eyes due to hayfever and the very high grass pollen. Ilana treated that too and it's been nothing short of extraordinary. No more itchy eyes!
She is calm and friendly and puts you at ease. Highly recommended.

Acupuncture by Ilana is a very professional, well run clinic in Bricket Wood. I highly recommend Ilana, who has treated me for hay fever both last year and this year with great success.

It is quite unusual to find out that Acupuncture is such a successful cure for so many ailments, and not having to take tablets or wear an acupressure band has been wonderful.

Ilana added in some other extra things within the treatment so it was an all over health boost!

Ilana has a wonderful garden clinic room. Attended 4 sessions which really helped with my whiplash and anxiety. Loved the heated bed, the scented candles.

Had some gua sha too which helped ease the tension in my shoulders and back. Also had ear seeds to help my anxiety. Highly recommend Ilana if you looking to heal through acupuncture.

I suffer with chronic lower back pain and have recently been struggling with sciatica. I did not want to keep taking tablets for pain relief as I get constipated, so decided on acupuncture.

I’ve been seeing Ilana for the last 4-5 weeks and the results have been positive I finally have a smile on my face again 😊

If you struggle with chronic pain and the pain is making you feel low, I would definitely recommend giving acupuncture a go. Ilana is softly spoken and gentle and has a very calming voice.

I took my 10 year old to see Ilana after he had been complaining about his back for weeks, following a trip to a theme park. Within days of seeing Ilana, he said it hurt less until eventually, he stopped mentioning it at all. I'm so glad I went down this route and saw the lovely Ilana rather than getting him painkillers which may not have gotten to the root of the problem. I’ve been seeing Ilana for about 3 months now to treat PMDD and I’m seeing amazing progress so far! I’ve seen a huge reduction in symptoms and am feeling much more balanced and more myself than I have done in a long time. PMDD was something I suffered with for years and it was very resistant to lots of other treatments I tried so to start seeing improvements so quickly was amazing. The appointments have been really helpful for my anxiety as well which was a bonus I wasn’t expecting, I feel really calm after my weekly appointment and my racing thoughts slow down. Ilana is really thorough and creates a safe environment where you feel comfortable talking about your health issues, it’s really nice to feel listened to especially after bad experiences with GPs who don’t take women’s reproductive health seriously enough. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough!

Ilana was incredible with my 9 year old son. He was in a lot of pain in his feet, legs and shoulders and he walked out of their pain free for the first time in weeks! He also felt more relaxed over the next few weeks and slept significantly better.
