When all else failed, the steroid injections were no longer effective (and who wants to pump their body full of steroids anyway?!) and hayfever was ruining my everyday and making me very down, Ilana came to the rescue! I had never had acupuncture before and was definitely sceptical but havwe now experienced the power of it first-hand and recommend anybody unsure to give it a go.

I was greatly helped by Ilana's acupuncture treatment of my arthritic knees. The treatment room is a bright, calm space in which to relax, and Ilana herself inspires confidence by being very thorough. I shall have no hesitation in returning for future treatment when necessary.

Ilana massively helped me with hot flushes due to menopause. After just one session the flushes reduced by half and by the second session I only had a couple a day and could sleep so much better. Ilana is a miracle worker .

I've had absolutely awful hay fever for as long as I can remember. Streaming eyes, constant sneezing, feeling exhausted, it was miserable. I've tried pretty much everything over the years, including prescription medication and injections. A couple of years ago, someone suggested acupuncture, so I gave Ilana a call. All I can say is that the difference has been amazing. I'm not saying it's completely cured my hay fever, but it's made a massive difference. Her treatment room is calm, peaceful and relaxing, and every session feels like a chance to switch off from the madness of everyday life. If you're struggling with hay fever and feel like you've tried everything else, I'd strongly recommend giving her a try.

I previously saw Ilana weekly for over a year following a three year struggle to conceive. I had experienced two very early miscarriages and a struggled to fall pregnant naturally. I started seeing Ilana when I was about to embark on an intensive IVF journey. Due to the miscarriages my cycle was irregular and unhealthy, but after a few treatments with Ilana this returned and I felt it was the healthiest it had ever been. I done three rounds of back to back ivf egg collections where we ended up with 5 genetically normal embryos which we was thrilled with and I truly believe weekly Accupuncture sessions along with some supplement and dietary changes really supported this. The biggest surprise of all was that I found out we had conceived naturally, during a months break we had from ivf where i was preparing for an embryo transfer. I whole heartedly believe that it was Accupuncture that made this difference and supported me in falling pregnant. I continued to see Ilana throughout my pregnancy and can honestly say I have had a healthy straightforward pregnancy and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. Ilana is great at what she does and really helps investigate and uncover any other underlying reasons why you may be having fertility issues. I couldn’t recommend Ilana enough. 😌

I had a sudden and very painful old nerve issue resurface. I was looking for a local acupuncture service, close to St Albans and I found it in Bricket Wood. The reviews I read about Acupuncture by Illana gave me confidence that she could help and I was delighted to secure an almost instant appointment. I have had acupuncture previously and although it is very beneficial for some reason I find the prospect of the appointment makes me nervous. As soon as I arrived for my appointment Ilana put me at ease. Ilana is calm and kind, taking her time to get to know you and the issue. I was lucky that it only took two sessions for the issue to resolve but I know now that when that first twinge appears I will be arranging an appointment! It is an hour of calm that leaves the body rested and relaxed. Thank you Ilana.

Acupuncture by Ilana, Bricket Wood, St Albans. I had a few acupuncture sessions with Ilana for back pain and found that she really helped me. There was one particular session where I immediately felt relief from the pain that had been affecting my walking and general wellbeing. I would highly recommend Ilana.

Having never had acupuncture before I was not sure what to expect. I've suffered with daily ear ache/headaches for a year. Have seen numerous ENT specialists and had various scans all of which showed nothing. After just a few sessions with Ilana the pain went away. I cannot recommend enough!!

I went to have acupuncture by Ilana for hay fever. I was going away for a long weekend and my nose was streaming constantly. I hadn’t gone for acupuncture before the allergy season so I was hoping for a quick fix. My nose stop streaming immediately and didn’t stream while I was away. I was so grateful. The treatment was also a very pleasant and relaxing experience and Ilana is thorough and very caring. I can highly recommend Ilana.

I’ve been to Ilana on and off for four years now and can’t recommend enough. She helped me get my hormones back on track with my first pregnancy and I was pregnant within 2 months of seeing her and has helped hugely with my migraines. I also started seeing her to help balance my hormones and reduce migraines before trying for anther baby and she got them back on track in 4 sessions.

I started to see Ilana with menopause symptoms and migraines as medication was not working for me. Ilana has managed to keep both symptoms at bay without the use of medication. I only occasionally have a hot flush and I no longer get migraines. She is now working on my tension headaches and joint pain.
