I went to have acupuncture by Ilana for hay fever. I was going away for a long weekend and my nose was streaming constantly. I hadn’t gone for acupuncture before the allergy season so I was hoping for a quick fix. My nose stop streaming immediately and didn’t stream while I was away. I was so grateful. The treatment was also a very pleasant and relaxing experience and Ilana is thorough and very caring. I can highly recommend Ilana.

I’ve been to Ilana on and off for four years now and can’t recommend enough. She helped me get my hormones back on track with my first pregnancy and I was pregnant within 2 months of seeing her and has helped hugely with my migraines. Ilana has a wonderful garden clinic room. Attended 4 sessions which really helped with my whiplash and anxiety. Loved the heated bed, the scented candles.Had some gua sha too which helped ease the tension in my shoulders and back. Also had ear seeds to help my anxiety. I suffer with chronic lower back pain and have recently been struggling with sciatica. I took my 10 year old to see Ilana after he had been complaining about his back for weeks, following a trip to a theme park. Within days of seeing Ilana, he said it hurt less until eventually, he stopped mentioning it at all. I’ve been seeing Ilana for about 3 months now to treat PMDD and I’m seeing amazing progress so far! I’ve seen a huge reduction in symptoms and am feeling much more balanced and more myself than I have done in a long time. PMDD was something I suffered with for years and it was very resistant to lots of other treatments I tried so to start seeing improvements so quickly was amazing. The appointments have been really helpful for my anxiety as well which was a bonus I wasn’t expecting, I feel really calm after my weekly appointment and my racing thoughts slow down. Ilana is really thorough and creates a safe environment where you feel comfortable talking about your health issues, it’s really nice to feel listened to especially after bad experiences with GPs who don’t take women’s reproductive health seriously enough. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough!

I went to Ilana with so many menopausal problems, I was at my wits end, and totally fed up. She made notes of all my symptoms, aches and pains etc, she's very understanding and makes you feel completely at ease. Needles are placed in appropriate areas, and though you may feel like a porcupine, with soothing music in the background, and soft lighting, the experience is very relaxing! I've had a few treatments now, and I'm finding the acupuncture really beneficial. Wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend Ilana.
