I have been an acupuncturist for over 15 years and I work from my lovely garden clinic in the village of Bricket Wood, in St Albans, just 5 minutes from Radlett and easily accessible from the M25, M1, A414 and A405.
I am originally from Glasgow, but left over 30 years ago.
Although I work with patients with a variety of issues, I have a special interest in fertility, pregnancy menopause and pain management.
I know how confusing and stressful it is to be pushed from consultant to IVF clinic, trying to get answers as to why you aren’t posting your own baby photos on your social media account.

During my fertility journey, trying to get pregnant in my late 30’s, I was lucky to be able to receive acupuncture with Naava Carman, a fertility acupuncturist. This support was integral in my journey and made me feel in control and supported. It was a definite factor in me getting pregnant and giving birth to my son.
That experience had a profound impact on me. I wanted to help others the way Naava had helped me, so I completed her intensive fertility support training. The course focuses on supporting complex fertility cases and combines an understanding of Western medical diagnostics and conditions with traditional acupuncture theory.
This training allowed me to deepen my focus on women’s health and fertility support — an area I feel incredibly passionate about
I use my acupuncture knowledge and my training in western medicine testing, to treat infertility issues.
These include: unexplained infertility, recurrent miscarriage, low sperm count, IVF, IUI, ICSI, and pregnancy in the over-40s.
After hours of intense study, I now hold a diploma in a world-leading qualification, enabling me to support people with fertility issues using Chinese Medicine.
This is just the start of my learning experience. All Fertility Support Trained practitioners commit to continual training, every year, to keep their knowledge and skills up to date.

Following extensive postgraduate study, I gained a Fertility Support diploma in one of the world’s leading fertility acupuncture qualifications, enabling me to provide specialised support using Chinese Medicine alongside an understanding of modern fertility testing and treatment pathways.
Continued learning is incredibly important to me, and I regularly undertake further professional training to ensure my knowledge remains current and evidence-informed.
