I work from my garden clinic in Bricket Wood, just outside St Albans — a quiet, restorative space. I’m five minutes from Radlett and easily reachable from across Hertfordshire.
At home, I live with my husband, our son and Fluffy the bichon — who occasionally makes a guest appearance on my social media posts.
I am originally from Glasgow, but left over 30 years ago and don’t miss that weather!
I am so lucky to have found a job I love — working in acupuncture allows me to help people find relief, balance, and wellness through a practice rooted in thousands of years of wisdom. I treat men, women and children, but my passion for women’s hormonal health is both professional and personal. When I was trying to conceive in my late 30s, acupuncture was the support that made a real difference. It helped me feel in control of my body at a time when everything felt uncertain — and it played a genuine role in me conceiving my son.
That experience changed the direction of my work. I went on to train at advanced level in fertility acupuncture, and women’s hormonal health has been at the heart of my practice ever since.
I understand firsthand how isolating, exhausting and emotional this journey can be — and I bring that understanding into every appointment.
I combine traditional Chinese medicine with a working knowledge of Western medical diagnostics. This means I can look at your test results alongside your symptoms, identify gaps in your investigation, and recommend additional assessments when something important may have been missed.
I look at the whole pattern — your cycle, your stress levels, your sleep, your history — and build a treatment plan around you specifically, not a generic protocol.
I also provide written treatment plans and lifestyle guidance, refer to trusted consultants when needed, and offer emotional support throughout the fertility journey.
This means I can do things a general acupuncturist cannot: review your fertility blood results, identify missing investigations, understand how IVF drug protocols affect treatment timing, and advise on the growing body of evidence linking gut and vaginal microbiome health to fertility and implantation.
